The spring/summer market season is so close I can almost taste it. We do have a few year-round and winter market here in the city, but nothing signals warm weather and the growing season like the seasonal markets. While the great majority don’t start until late June, there are a few starting in early to mid-May this year! The City of Chicago official tourism site has a great page on Chicago Farmers Markets that lists info for all of the city-run and independent markets, organized by day of the week. Check it out so you can keep opening weekend free – mark your calendars!
